PENSACOLA, Florida– Two individuals have been charged in connection with the shooting incident that occurred in Downtown Pensacola on Sunday morning.

The Pensacola Police Department announced on Tuesday morning that these two men have been arrested for their involvement in the shooting at the intersection of Jefferson and Government streets.

  • Rashawn Posey, 21, of Pensacola — aggravated assault and attempted homicide
  • Warren Grahamm, 25, of Pensacola — aggravated assault and attempted homicide (accessory after the fact)

Both individuals are currently detained in Escambia County Jail with a bond set at $350,000.

The shooting took place at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in a parking lot.

The victim suffered severe injuries as a result of the incident.

According to authorities, the shooting originated from a disturbance involving a sizable group of people.

On Monday night, Pensacola Police executed search warrants at two separate residences in order to apprehend the two suspects involved in the shooting.

I appreciate our officers who worked the 44 hours of this case for yet again sending a clear message: If you infringe upon the safety of our community, you can expect that we will find you, and you can expect we will bring you to justice.”
