The teenager was discovered deceased at the scene, and it is believed that an argument preceded the shooting.

Takeasha Kennedy, a resident of the neighborhood, stated that her 9-year-old child was playing outside when they heard the sound of gunshots.

“I was in my house cleaning my room and I heard these loud ‘pop pop pop’ like real loud too close,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy mentioned that she relocated to the Franklinton neighborhood, specifically in the vicinity of North Guilford Avenue, in December.

She expressed her astonishment by stating, “In the short duration that I have resided here, I have never encountered the sound of gunshots of such intensity before.”
