SHIVELY, Kentucky–Following a shooting incident on Saturday afternoon, the Shively Police Department has arrested an individual. The incident resulted in the death of one man.

Police were called to a residence in the 2500 block of Ralph Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. in response to a reported shooting that took place inside the residence.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered a 21-year-old man who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was apprehended without any resistance and has now been charged with the crime of murder.
