NASHVILLE, Tennessee– An investigation is currently underway following a shooting incident that occurred in North Nashville on Monday night.

Around 10:30 p.m. on May 29, officers responded to a shooting report in the 1200 block of Avondale Circle. According to the Metropolitan Police, three individuals were shot while sitting inside a vehicle.
The victims, who sustained injuries, subsequently drove themselves to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment.
Further details about the incident, including the extent of the injuries and any potential suspects, have not been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
At the scene of the incident, officers provided additional information about the victims’ injuries. One individual was shot in the leg, another in the abdomen, and a third in the chest.
