MAZOMANIE, Wisconsin– A Wisconsin mother, Madison Roth, shared a distressing incident in which her 16-month-old son, Isaiah Ede, was severely bitten by a dog while he was at a home daycare.

The dog attack resulted in extensive injuries to Isaiah’s face, requiring immediate surgery at the hospital. Roth described the scene as one of the most horrifying experiences she has ever witnessed, with her son’s face being severely injured and him screaming in pain.
Upon being informed of the situation, Roth rushed to the home daycare and accompanied her baby in an ambulance to seek medical attention.
Following the dog attack, Isaiah was promptly transported to American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison for treatment. He underwent surgery, and although he is currently stable, his mother, Madison Roth, expressed concerns about his survival.
Roth explained that she had been sending her son to the home daycare, which is operated by Whitney Hague, a family friend.
Roth had entrusted Hague with the care of her two older daughters in the past and had started using the daycare service for Isaiah approximately six months ago without any previous issues.
“I was scared,” she said. “There was blood everywhere.”
“She’s a wonderful lady,” Roth said. “She does activities with the kids, but this should have never happened. There should’ve been any dog left alone by him.”
