On Sunday afternoon, a dust devil unexpectedly engulfed a 7-year-old catcher during a little league baseball game, according to a reporter on the scene.
Video footage captured the moment when dirt and dust formed a swirling vortex around Bauer Zoya, the 7-year-old catcher. Fortunately, a 17-year-old umpire reacted swiftly, jumping in to rescue the child from the chaotic whirlwind.
Zoya told that it felt like 10 minutes to him, but the dust didn’t keep him from playing the game. His father poured water to get the dust out of his eyes and he jumped back into the game.
