FRANKLIN, New Hampshire—A fatal car accident occurred in Franklin on Saturday morning, leaving one person dead and another person airlifted to a hospital.
The incident was reported to the police before 9 a.m. and happened near 734 Hill Road. No further details have been released.
Police said a vehicle, a white pick-up truck, left the road and crashed into a tree. Two people were inside, one was pronounced dead and the other was transported by helicopter from a nearby hospital.
The identities of the people involved have not been released.
The crash is under investigation by the Franklin Police Department. Hill Road in the area of the crash is closed until investigators determine otherwise, police said.
