
ALLEN, TEXAS–As the authorities investigate the shooter, we are gaining more information about the victims in the mass shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon at the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas.
The incident resulted in the death of eight individuals and injuries to seven others.

According to a letter sent to parents by the Wylie Independent School District, both elementary school students Daniela and Sofia Mendoza were killed in the shooting.
The letter stated that Daniela was in fourth grade while her younger sister Sofia was in second grade. The girls’ mother, Ilda Mendoza, is currently in the hospital in critical condition.
The school district expressed deep sadness over the loss of their students, stating that words cannot express the grief they feel. They extended their thoughts and prayers to the Mendoza family, the families of the other victims, and all those affected by the tragic event.
Cox Elementary School Principal Krista Wilson described the sisters as “rays of sunshine” in the letter, highlighting the positive impact they had on the school community.
Wilson assured parents that Daniela and Sofia will always be remembered and encouraged them to hug their kids and tell them they love them.
The school district has decided not to inform the students of the tragic news and will leave it up to parents to have that conversation with their children. Counseling services are being offered to students, staff, and families to help cope with the tragedy.
The letter urged the community to support the Mendoza family and the families of the other victims during this difficult time. The school district pledged to do everything in its power to provide support to those affected by the senseless act of violence.

The Texas Department of Public Safety released a statement on Monday identifying 32-year-old Elio Cumana-Rivas as one of the victims of the shooting massacre.

One of the victims of the shooting has been identified as 20-year-old Christian LaCour by his family members. According to his mother.
LaCour was serving as a security guard at the shopping center when the shooter began firing. LaCour spent his childhood in Farmersville.
-Aishwarya Thatikonda

Family members of Aishwarya Thatikonda have confirmed that she was one of the victims killed in the shooting on Saturday.
Thatikonda, who was 27 years old, worked as a project manager for a local contracting company and resided in McKinney. Her family, who lives in India, is currently traveling to the United States.

One family lost three of its members in the shooting on Saturday. The victims were identified as members of the Cho family, and their children attended Prestonwood Christian Academy.
Currently, their 5-year-old son William ,the only survivor in the family is in the ICU.
