NASHVILLE, Tennessee–The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department has arrested and charged a hotel employee, David Neal, for allegedly sexually assaulting a guest at a Hilton hotel in downtown Nashville. Neal has been fired from his job after the incident.

The victim, identified as Peter Brennan, reported that he was sleeping when he woke up to Neal touching him inappropriately. Brennan’s lawyer stated that Neal used an unauthorized key card to enter Brennan’s room around 5 a.m. during his stay in March.

Brennan further reported that Neal was sucking on his toes while he was being sexually assaulted. He described the incident as waking up to a man who had broken into his room.

According to Brennan’s lawyer, Neal was terminated from his job because he refused to provide a statement regarding the alleged assault. The lawyer is also waiting for the hotel’s surveillance footage to be released.

Neal has been charged with aggravated burglary and assault. He is currently being held in jail on a bond of $27,000.
