Baltimore County Police Department reported that someone killed a woman in a shooting in Essex on Friday afternoon. Authorities dispatched officers from the Essex Precinct to the scene of the shooting at around 4:57 p.m.
The officers who arrived at the location found a victim with at least one gunshot wound.
Medics took the woman to an area hospital, where they were later pronounced dead, said the department.
