ROBESON COUNTY, North Carolina —The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has announced that they are seeking the arrest of Kenneth J. Mitchell, a 33-year-old man from Lumberton, following a shooting incident that occurred on Friday night in Robeson County.

The suspect is being charged with several offenses, including first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a weapon in an enclosure to incite fear. The Sheriff’s Office has not provided any further information about the incident or the circumstances surrounding it.

On Friday, at approximately 8:30 p.m., law enforcement officials responded to reports of a shooting on Parnell Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Donald Ray Williams, a 27-year-old resident of Wagram, who had been fatally shot.
