YIV-Ukraine, Russia has alleged that it thwarted a potential assault on the Kremlin carried out by Ukrainian drones early Wednesday. They characterized it as an unsuccessful assassination plot against President Vladimir Putin and vowed to respond to what they described as a “terrorist” act. However, the Ukrainian president dismissed the claim, stating, “We do not target Putin or Moscow.”

According to Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for Putin, the Russian president was not present in the Kremlin at the time and was instead at his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo, located outside Moscow, as reported by Russia’s state news agency RIA Novosti.
