Lee Turner, who served as a police officer in the Raleigh Police Department (RPD) for nearly ten years and is now representing Sgt. R.A. Sirianna, commented on the released body cam video of a deadly shooting. Turner stated that the video showcased the officers’ adherence to their training and professionalism during the incident.
According to Turner, the challenging nature of the situation was compounded by the proximity of houses in the neighborhood and people leaving for work. He emphasized that the officers were trained to swiftly respond to any unexpected circumstances that may arise in front of them.
Turner further highlighted Sgt. Syriana’s preparedness as he approached the scene, stating that he demonstrated the ability to promptly address the unfolding situation.
