
San Jacinto County authorities have confirmed that more individuals have been arrested in connection with the case after the apprehension of Francisco Oropesa, the shooting suspect accused of killing five of his neighbors in Texas. The 38-year-old suspect was captured on Tuesday evening in Cut and Shoot, a city situated in Montgomery County, after a rigorous four-day manhunt.
After the arrest of Francisco Oropesa, San Jacinto County Criminal District Attorney Todd Dillon has confirmed that Divimara Lamar Nava, Oropesa’s 53-year-old wife, has also been taken into custody in Montgomery County. According to jail records, Nava is facing a charge of hindering the apprehension or prosecution of a known felon.
