In the early hours of Thursday morning, a shooting incident was reported in the Central Hilltop area of Columbus, Ohio. According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Clarendon Avenue, located north of Sullivant Avenue, at 2:55 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a critically injured individual who was subsequently transported to Grant Medical Center for treatment.

According to information provided by officers at the scene, a brief vehicle pursuit took place involving a vehicle in which the potential suspect was believed to be present. The pursuit concluded with a collision in the 2300 block of Sheridan Avenue, which was approximately two minutes away from the location of the shooting. It has not been confirmed whether there were any injuries or arrests resulting from the crash. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
