In Jericho, Nassau County, a fatal accident involving several vehicles has resulted in the closure of a section of Route 106 on Thursday morning. According to officials, the crash involved at least two cars and a truck. The collision occurred on North Broadway, also referred to as Route 106, shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
As a result, the affected portion of Route 106 is closed between Jericho Turnpike and the Long Island Expressway North Service Road. The closure will impact bus routes that operate along Jericho Turnpike.
