The incident took place in the vicinity of I-35 and Hwy 97, shortly after 4:00 pm. The EMS team present at the location informed that they had encountered a patient who needed a significant amount of time for extrication. Consequently, they requested the assistance of a Life Link helicopter. By around 5:00 pm, the patient was successfully airlifted from the scene..
